Mary Wanzer is the Broker and co-owner of Coastal Real Estate Group. Mary is a proven real estate professional with a dedication to exceeding her client's expectations in every way. Building lifetime relationships one client at a time, she is devoted to her clients while offering a personalized, professional approach which continues well after closing. In Mary's endeavor to provide a positive experience, her clients experience skilled negotiation techniques, ethical representation, integrity and a vast knowledge of the real estate industry guiding them through a successful transaction.

With a strong belief in the value of continuing education, Mary was awarded the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation in 2005. To receive the CRS Designation, a Realtor must demonstrate outstanding professional achievements, including high-volume sales, and pursue advanced training in areas such as finance, marketing and technology. Mary is proud to be among the top 4% of Realtors in the nation who have achieved the CRS designation. Mary also holds the E-pro designation and is currently enrolled in the Certified Commercial Investment Management (CCIM) designation program.

Mary also enjoys being involved in the Ketchikan community. She served on the Ketchikan Planning and Zoning Commission for 6 years, is a member of Historic Ketchikan, The Ketchikan Visitors Bureau, Southeast Alaska Builders Association, Ketchikan Area Arts and Humanities and currently sits on The Ketchikan Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.

Marna is an associate broker and co-owner of Coastal Real Estate Group. She was raised in Ketchikan and loves sharing her knowledge of the community and real estate market with both buyers and sellers. With over 18 years of experience in the Ketchikan real estate market, Marna has proven herself by working hard for her customers. Her positive perspective and integrity have made her one of the top agents working in this part of Alaska. Marna worked with Re/Max of Ketchikan for over 13 years prior to starting Coastal Real Estate Group and is excited to bring that experience to Coastal Real Estate Group.

Having been a lifelong resident of Ketchikan, Marna offers insights into the community that most could not. Her involvement and volunteer work earned her a Woman of Distinction award in 2010. She is a member of First City Rotary serving as the club's Youth Exchange Officer. Her volunteer work puts her at the center of activity in Ketchikan and allows her to meet and share with many individuals. Marna believes that being a realtor is about building relationships with the people you serve.

Jenn Zona has been an integral part of Coastal Real Estate Group since the company's inception. She originally joined the team as the Office Manager, developing the company's many procedures and marketing style, as well as reinforcing the company's reputable customer service.

Born in the Midwest, Jenn grew up watching her family succeed in small business and property management. She was raised with an appreciation and understanding of "hard work."

Later, after living in the Southwest for more than a decade and earning a degree from Northern Arizona University in Communications, Jenn often entertained thoughts of working in the real estate industry. Before her real estate dream could come true, she worked professionally as an independent marketing consultant, nonprofit public relations, economic development for small business, and as part of a national marketing team for a "Fortune 100" and "Forbes 200" ranked company.

Having relocated several times for her husband's career with the U.S. Forest Service, Jenn, her husband, and 3 dogs are finally proud to call Ketchikan home: "I knew Ketchikan was home the moment we got here. After selling his Alaska based wholesale distribution business, Northern Sales Co., in 2006 Mike turned his focus to commercial property management and real estate sales in the Ketchikan area. He is an owner of and Realtor with Coastal Real Estate Group and offers a keen knowledge of the Ketchikan area and of real estate investments in southeast Alaska.

Mike attended the U.S. Naval Academy and Western Washington University earning a degree in Political Science.

Mike's community involvement includes being a director on the First Bank board, a director on the Southeast Alaska Power Authority board, member of the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Alaska board, treasurer for the Ketchikan Rod & Gun Club, and member of the Ketchikan Chamber of Commerce.

Rhonda Caskey comes to Ketchikan and Coastal Real Estate Group with a wide and varied background in financing and office management. She also comes with an enthusiasm for public service, on an individual level, and strong family values.

Twelve years as a mortgage loan officer working with and directly supporting real estate agents, twenty plus years in the financial industry, fifteen years in management positions, including work as the executive assistant for a non-profit medical organization and having an independent, self-motivated spirit particularly qualifies her for this new part of life.

After a brief visit to Ketchikan as part of a women's ministry group in 2010, she decided to move here from Ohio to see what Alaska had to offer. In following that call, her life has been more enriched than she ever could have expected and the experience has made this area truly "home".

She loves to share the excitement of life in Ketchikan, telling friends and family of the beauty Ketchikan offers. She loves the outdoors and natural wildlife of Southeast Alaska that stirs her interest in photography. She has two sons. Scotty Hasting is serving in the U.S. Army with a budding new family and Corey Hasting, a senior at Ohio University. She is married to a long time resident of Ketchikan, Shawn Caskey.

Currently involved with Southeast Alaska Christian Women's Retreat, she puts her skills to work at all levels of service. She is not scared to get her hands dirty and is just as comfortable in a pair of "extra tuff" boots as she is in high heels.

John Thompson was born and raised in Ketchikan, Alaska. He graduated from Ketchikan High School and later attended Western Oregon university in Monmouth, Oregon. John majored in Business with a minor in entrepreneurship.

Virginia Roginski was raised in NY and studied at the University of New Paltz, graduating with a degree in Fine Arts. She enjoyed 2 years of volunteer service with Americorps before making Ketchikan her home in 2006. Since moving here, she has worked in human services with individuals who experience developmental disabilities. She has an inherently supportive and compassionate nature, which she brings to every client relationship. She will make sure her clients are given attention and care each step of the way.

As a member of the Ketchikan Area Arts and Humanities Council and KRBD, Virginia has a strong belief in supporting local community organizations. She actively promotes the local events and uniqueness of what makes Ketchikan such a special place to live. For anyone new to town she can recommend many of the local events and happenings that keep our town eclectic and fresh. Virginia also enjoys getting out and exploring all that Southeast Alaska has to offer. With a fiancé who fishes any chance he gets, she has become quite the angler. They both enjoy boating, camping and hiking to take in the serene beauty and remoteness of the surrounding areas.

While originally from Chicago, Craig started his Alaskan adventures in 2005, shortly after graduating from the University of Wisconsin. He has worked in the tourism industry throughout the state and in 2007, Craig was given the opportunity to move to Ketchikan full time.

Craig has been involved in the local tourism industry for the past four years and has gained much valuable insight into the wonderful community of Ketchikan which he is proud to now call home. As a member of the Ketchikan Visitors Bureau and Alaska Travel Industry Association, Craig has worked to share his love of Ketchikan with others and promote a welcoming atmosphere to all who visit or plan to call Ketchikan home.

David Anderes is licensed as an associate broker with Coastal Real Estate Group. He was first licensed in Eugene, OR in 1976 and in 1979 received his associate broker license while working for Countryman Realty. During that time he graduated from the Realtors institute (GRI). Dave moved back to Alaska in 1981 where he owned and operated Anderes Realty in Sitka for several years, specializing in residential home sales, where he received the professional designation Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB). In 1986 he returned to Ketchikan to become involved in a fuel distribution business where he has been for 25 years. Dave has been active in real estate in Ketchikan both personally and professionally having been broker and co-owner of Waterfall Property Management since 2004 specializing in commercial leases, commercial sales and property management.
